Float for Brainrots is a water-based action-collection game about hauling strange creatures home before sharks catch you. This guide covers the first trip, controls, upgrades, safe routes, and local two-player play.

You begin on a basic raft and explore increasingly dangerous waters for collectible Brainrots. The core loop is to collect a valuable load, return it to base for Money and Tickets, then improve your boat so you can travel farther.

Leave the base, collect Brainrots, and watch your boat’s carrying timer. Return to base to bank the haul, or reach an island to reset the timer and continue exploring. Spend your rewards on speed, capacity, efficiency, range, and better boats; distant waters contain rarer Brainrots.

1. Use the movement controls to board or steer your starting raft away from the base.
2. Approach nearby Brainrots and use Interact when the game prompts you.
3. Start with close, common collectibles while learning how quickly the carrying timer falls.
4. Turn back early enough to reach the base before the timer expires. If sharks attack, you lose the Brainrots still aboard.
5. Confirm that the returned haul has awarded Money or Tickets before departing again.
6. Buy an early speed upgrade, then add capacity once you can complete short trips consistently.
7. Use islands as intermediate safe zones: reaching one resets the timer.
8. Attempt distant rarity zones only after your boat and route can support the return journey.
